New work space.

Ooh, well my new table area is looking quite cluttered and in a "workable" state more quickly than I imagined.

It is so annoying when...

...you can not think of a darn thing to write.

I always find that semi-conscious sleep brings the best thoughts and inspiration, but the moment I pick up a pen to write it down

...it's gone.

French Bulldog in a duffle coat.

...just because he can.

Wish I was a bear.

A girl smiled at me as I was walking through the snow today.

I wish I was a bear when it is as cold as this outside..

Monkey hat time.

Today it snowed and I may or may not have worn a monkey hat.

Bowler hat fashion.

I would love to be able to pull off the "bowler hat look"...

...But I always feel like Charlie Chaplin.

5 things.

Recently, a close friend of mine gave me the idea to think of five lovely things that happen to you each day.

You have to be spontaneous with them; the first five wonderful, positive things that pop into your head, grab them and write them down.

Here are mine from today...

- Getting bookshelves sorted in our flat.

- Having the fire on while it is snowing outside.
- Gathering thoughts, putting things into action today.
- Chilling with the other half.
- Sorting out three of my fondest close-ones' birthday presents.

Today's Outfit.

Our night.

Most of our evenings are now spent like this.

Glued to a laptop, grunting rather than speaking.

It's okay though, we get more of our "work" done this way.

Coffee, syrup & me.

I think we need to have a serious talk about our relationship..

Soon.

A fresh start.

Hello to you
...
Here is a little about me;

I am an illustrator, artist and tea drinker. I have almost always had a French Bulldog in my life, if you have one and I see you in the street I will come over to you. It cannot be helped. There is a slightly obsessive side to my personality, for example, if I like a book I will not put it down, if I find a blog I like, I will attempt to read all posts, and if I like you, you had better run and hide. (N.B. apologies to my other half.)

A journal, or doodle-type notebook is something I always have at my side.

I enjoy syrup in my coffee far more than I should.

Being absorbed in the world of the internet for long periods of time, may well be my downfall.

And I am a sucker for tacky, garish, cutesy, kitsch, trinket-y, god awful loveliness.

My main phobia is butterflies...

Feel free to contact me with any queries about my work or just to say hello.

I would love to hear from you.
